Annual Póc Fáda

Hi all, Looking forward to our Annual Póc Fáda on St. Stephen’s Day in Ballymacoda starting at 12 Noon, Prizes for Adult, Juvenile, Camogie and Juvenile Camogie, Teams of 3 with €5 entry fee per player, please bring your own Sliotar, all proceeds will go to a local Charity.

After 10 years of dedicated and committed service Liam Leahy has stepped down from his role as Adult Club Secretary, A huge word of thanks from all our Club members and supporters everywhere on a job superbly done . Club Chairman Dan O’Connor presented Liam  with a token of appreciation from the Club for his service also included is Niall Griffin Club Treasurer. Alan Coakley has taken on the role of Secretary so we wish Alan all the best for the future. The full line up of Officers and Committee members elected at last nights AGM will be published over the next few days.

Mental Health Awareness Night in Garryvoe Hotel 22nd Nov

Hi all, just a reminder about our Mental Health Awareness Night in Garryvoe Hotel on Weds. 22nd November next, everyone from 15 years of age and older and their parents more than welcome.

Vintage Tractor / Truck / Car run taking place on Sat. 28th Oct

As you may be aware there is a Vintage Tractor / Truck / Car run taking place on Sat. 28th Oct. starting in Aghavine at 12 Noon with registration at 10:30am. This is part of the ongoing fundraiser venture for Mick O’Sullivan & family. A celebration of the days events will follow on afterwards in the Thatched Inn from 5pm onwards with music and raffle taking place. All members are encouraged to take part, if you don’t have a Tractor, Vintage Car or a Truck please feel free to join in with the family car.
If anyone wishes to help out on the day we’re looking for help with stewarding, registration, parking, ticket sellers, sandwich makers etc. Alll help greatly appreciated. Please text Mark Kelliher on 0857121191 if available, thank you.
Everyone is more than welcome to Aghavine to see off the run on the morning, there’ll be tea and coffee, spot prizes etc. Thank you all.
