Adult Club AGM

The AGM of our Adult Club takes place on Fri. 11^th Dec. at 8pm in Aghavine everybody welcome

Annual Dinner Dance

Our Annual Victory Dinner Dance will take place on Sat. 5th Dec. in Garryvoe Hotel at 8pm with music by James P. O'Sullivan followed by Disco. Our victorious Fé 21 A  and Jnr. B Hurlers will be presented with their East Cork medals on the night.

Jnr. A Hurling Co. Final

Congrats to the Dungourney Hurlers and all involved on their superb victory in the replayed Jnr. A Hurling Co. final last Fri. night in Pr. Ui Rinn, the best of luck in your Munster campaign.

Juvenile Club

Ger Lewis U12 Hurling Tournament.

We were kindly invited to the above tournament by the local St. Colmans Club.

Tracton, Fr. O’Neills and St. Colmans made up the teams in the competition.

After being beaten by the hosts in the opening game we beat Tracton in the

second game. With Tracton losing their second game to St. Colmans we

ended up meeting St. Colmans in the final proper, In a closely fought final we

ended up victors in the end. Well done lads. This was the final outing for this

group for the year. Look out in the coming few days for photos on facebook.

U14 East U14A Football County Lge. Final.

Fr. O’Neills 1:06 v Macroom 3:09.

Ballincollig was the venue for the above final played on Sun. 1st Nov last.

Macroom set the pattern for this game with 2:01 inside the first five minutes. We found it difficult with points from John Millerick, Ceolan Murphy, and Peter

Hassett our only scores in the first half we went in at the break Macroom

leading 3:04 to 0:03.

We started the second half brightly with points from Brian Coleman and John

Millerick which left 8 points between the sides, We needed a goal but the

strong Macroom backs kept our forwards at bay. Macroom got three points

in a row which killed off the game. We got a consolation goal near the end but time

ran out and Macroom were the victors. We had a good league campaign with

plenty good victories on route to the final. Macroom being a football stronghold had

probably more craft in certain areas which led to their win.
